Is to enable our whanau to live lives of their choice.
The Supported Life Style Hauraki Trust is based in Thames and has been operating since 1994.
The purpose of the Trust is to provide quality supports to people with mixed abilities and those who are rehabilitating from traumatic brain injuries. One of our key objectives is encouraging quality relationships and interactions with the wider community and helping people reach their goals.
Based in Thames, the Trust provides a variety of services supporting people with a broad variety of disabilities. The majority of support provided is residential, with 77 out of the 89 people we support receiving full residential support. The Trust also provides vocational services at different locations around the Hauraki Area.
We have a staff of 107. Most of these are full time staff. We also have a small but steadily growing core of volunteers many of these are young people from the Thames community who are exploring a career in supporting people.
