Staff Support

The Supported Life Style Hauraki Trust currently employs over 30 care workers, support workers and life coaches to provide 24/7 care. The multidisciplinary team includes:

Occupational Therapist
Physiotherapist
Consultant psychologist
Relationship and sexuality consultants
and works closely alongside the Leadership Team and Support staff.

This team has expertise in providing community based rehabilitation for people with brain injuries within residential and day programme settings, together with expertise to provide skill development programmes for people with cognitive impairments across a range of tasks:

Personal cares
Household management and cooking
Budgeting
Community participation such as shopping, recreational, church, Special Olympics
Exercise and fitness
Gym, swimming and bike riding programmes
Behaviour, communication and social skills such as learning to live with others
Meaningful daytime activities at The Café, The Farm, 900 Queen Street and Bright Smiles garden
